Drawing on HKUST's expertise in science, engineering, management and social sciences, the EVMT program examines environmental issues from multiple perspectives. This enables students to integrate different points of view in their evaluation and generation of ideas and solutions. In addition to investigating environmental and sustainability issues on local, regional and global levels, students will also have an opportunity to study specially designed courses in pertinent environmental subjects such as environmental technology, environmental law, corporate accounting and auditing, green business, energy resources and sustainable development, among others. Theories are put into practice through case studies or placement programs like the Capstone Project, where students work with companies and NGOs to tackle real-world problems. More >>
